We are extremely lucky to have employees who go above and beyond, and each month we choose an employee to spotlight and acknowledge their work and collaboration as a teammate. This month, we're spotlighting Chessa Sadler. Chessa has shown great determination to her team and  her hard work has not gone unnoticed. 

How long have you been at Stratix, and what does your role entail?

I started as a temp in Staging back in 2010. I then accepted a permanent role in Order Management (OM) in 2013. So, collectively 11 years, but as a permanent employee 8 years. My current role entails new associate training on the ordering process and responsibilities, creating and managing all documentation of all OM processes, onboarding new customers, creating new customer profiles, assisting with the testing of new features in Oracle, assisting with the daily OM processes, back-up OM reps on existing accounts, and a whole lot more.

What do you like about working at Stratix?

What I love about working at Stratix is our dedication and partnership throughout across different departments to provide the best experience for our customers. It is fulfilling to watch a customer purchase order come to life and see the finished product being packaged and shipped to our customer.

What got you interested in your job, and what do you love about your job?

I wanted to take on a new challenging opportunity within the company. I love to find ways to improve process flow and make our team more efficient.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

The best career lesson I have learned is to believe in the power of failure. It's the best way to learn. Just remember to learn from your mistakes and not to repeat them.

Which of the Stratix Core Values do you identify with the most and why? 

The core values I identify most with is a tie between Get Our Uniform Dirty and Unwavering Integrity. We support each other throughout Stratix and hold value in our work and dedication to the customer.

What do you like to do when you aren't working? 

I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

If you could switch jobs or departments with anyone else within Stratix whose job would you choose?

I am happy in the current role I am in. Every day is a new adventure.
